Mawlid (Maulid an-Nabi or Eid Milad an-Nabi) is a holiday to commemorate Mahomet's Birthday. It is observed on the third mount of Muslim calendar, and it is also called Barat's Night. During that day Muslims are commemorating Mahomet's day of birth, when on the Mahomet's father Abd Allah's forehead God's light appeared. It filled Amina's womb, Mahomet's mother. Many miracles happened on that day – Earth was enlighten by unusual light, voices from heaven resounded, angels spread their wings and thrones of rulers shacked.
