The most important celebrations are taking place in US. During that day NASA is organizing trainings, lectures and shows that are making a knowledge about the Sun more common. Thanks to the Internet everyone can attend these trainings and lectures. For this purpose NASA created a special web site Sun-Earth Day.

Sun exists in men consciouses for thousands years. There was a time when it is worshiped as a god, like in ancient Egypt, where it was a god of mercifulness and protection. In Aztec Emporium, the Sun was a symbol of a god with a shield, who was expecting from his believers human sacrifices. The Sun is a source of an energy and it makes people feel better. According to Japanese witter, Haruki Murakami, we can enjoy enjoy each day, because at least the sun is always free.

Choose from thousands of sunny cards, ecards, greetings, wishes and poems.
